              recent years.In 2012, Jay-Z entered into a deal
              with  Parlux  Fragrances  to  launch  his  own
              fragrance   line,   "Jay-Z."   The   deal   was
              reportedly worth $100 million. However, Jay-Z
              claimed  that  Parlux  failed  to  meet  its
              financial obligations under the deal. In 2022,
              Jay-Z  sued  Parlux  for  $4.5  million  in  unpaid
              royalties.
              In  April  2022,  a  jury  found  in  favor  of  Jay-Z
              and  awarded  him  $4.5  million  in  damages.

              the contract and had acted in bad faith.
