6) Your talent has even caught the attention of legendary producer Dave Cochrane,
who has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. How did this moment
change you for the better in your soon-to-come success?
Yes!!! The Dave Cochrane thing was surreal in the sense that one moment I remember in my

childhood reading the liner notes and seeing all these names and the next thing I'm laying in
my room receiving a transatlantic call from a Grammy winning legend. He was on the phone
complimenting my vibe and music. There were plans for me to be flown out, given an
apartment, have a green card sorted out and jam & record at his LA mansion studio. That was
when I realized I could really do something even greater than people thought with this music.

      7) You have went on to produce much of your own music and projects, including your
previously released single "Just in Case ft. Laurnea. Can you share some of the ideas

and the process for creating this song?
Laurnea is such an underrated vocalist she is fantastic and such a sweetie. That song is the
second song I have done with Laurnea. That song started with me in the lab vibing out with a
groove for the project. Laurnea and I would speak on the phone or via messenger quite a bit
during this period. I know she likes a little of hip hop swag in her drums and sound sometimes
so I made sure to have that prominent but not overbearing. I added live bass guitar and live

keys to it. She worked on it in increments. chiseling away over a few months in between other
commitments. Once it was done she sent the vocals here where I mixed it all.

      8) You were honored with a nomination for 2019 Best Soul EP at the UK's

Groundbreakin Award 2020. What was the experience like when you heard the news
      of your nomination?
That nomination was one of the surrealist things because I had no idea until I received

information from a DJ here in London named Solar B. I felt super proud of all the singers who
sang on the project as well as feeling elated for being recognized for my work. All that without
any outside professional promotional companies. We done it all on our own with that project.

      9) what made you release a project so different like X-Perimental Mass?

X-Perimental Mass was a project I've wanted to do for a long time. I have a quirky and left field
sensibility which I need to bring forward without restrictions. I could have formed an alter ego
for this body of work but I see myself as a musician who wants to carry on in the tradition of
the genre hopping masters like Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, Marcus Miller, Robert Glasper,
Terrace Martin etc Lofty names but you know the dudes who just make music eschewing the

labels and boxes. I am R&b, I am Soul/Neo soul but I am also Fusion/Jazz and Electronica.

      10) Are there any new projects that you're currently working on?
I have quite a few things cooking in the lab. I have two singles being worked on with two
fantastic female singers from the UK. I am also working on some more solo works. I have an EP

planned with Andrae Bentley who sang on'The Vibezlab Sessions Vol's 1& II and a few other
things going on. The year 2020 brought some unexpected twists and turns but by the Creators
grace things will begin to blossom again! Stay tuned!
