6 Insight Magazine Winter 2025 NewsSave the date for our 47th Annual Lectures and AGMRichenda Kew, Executive PAWe are delighted to invite you all to our charity%u2019s 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Lectures, which will be held on Thursday 13 March 2025 at the Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre in London. For those not able to attend in person, the event will also be available online via Zoom.Although we will be hosting this event once again at Coin Street, we will be gathering in the lower suite instead of the top floor. Taking your feedback into consideration, we are going to try out this alternative suite within the building, and we are hopeful that it will prove to be more conducive to everyone%u2019s needs.Our AGM will begin at 1.00pm followed by the annual lectures at 2.00pm. We are delighted that Professor David (Ted) Garway-Heath, the Glaucoma UK Professor of Glaucoma and Allied Studies at UCL, will be joining us once again to give an update on his research. We are also very excited to announce that the recipient of our 50th anniversary Pitts Crick Research Fellowship will be invited to tell us all about their three-year glaucoma research project. So do come along and be among the first to meet them.Following the Annual Lectures, there will be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have, relating to either the speaker presentations or the work of Glaucoma UK. We plan to end, as always, with a drinks reception and the chance for you to meet others living with glaucoma or share your thoughts and experiences with us.
