                   Figure 6-63B–D. Beginning the Baseball Diamond Stitch. Pass the needles in regular sequence—always the
                   same one first, for a neat appearance. A temporary seizing holds the leather in place for you. For the first
                   couple of passes, haul each just tight enough to bring the two sides of the leather together. Use roping palms or
                   marlingspikes to haul with. After the first passes, haul more firmly, but not to the extent that you are in danger
                   of tearing the leather. You will find that the most recent stitches will be a bit loose, but that your hauling will
                   tighten previous stitches. D shows the first half of the leather being stitched.
