Programme overview:
The Diploma Programme in Creative Writing in English pro­
vides understanding, skills and professional knowledge about
the art of writing and develops the creative ability of those
interested in a professional career as a freelance writer. The
curriculum is structured to impart instruction in progressive
stages so as to ensure that a learner can assimilate infor­
mation about a writer's art and develops his/her creative
ability. This Programme includes training in imaginative
writing skills in relation to feature articles (women's issues, about concepts and principles in communication and their
book reviews, etc), writing short stories, scripts for TV/Ra­
dio, and writing poetry.
7. Diploma in Fish Products Technology
(DFPT)
Minimum Duration: 1 Year, Maximum Duration: 4 Years,
Course Fee: Rs. 9,000, Age no Bar.
Eligibility:
1. 10+2 Senior Secondary Pass Outs (or)
2. Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) from IGNOU
3. 10th pass may enrol simultaneously for the BPP and Di­
ploma programme.

with financial support of Ministry of Food Processing Indus­
tries, Government of India.

Programme overview
The Diploma Programme is a holistic package, which pro­
vides opportunities to the learner to gain knowledge about
nutrition and public health. It also enables the learners to
develop skills in communicating nutrition and health­related
information to the community.
The aim of the programme is to develop a knowledge base
in areas of nutrition and public health, promote awareness
application in nutrition and health education, and develop
skills for playing the role of nutrition/health educators in the
community.
