The group business is an age-old important pillar of a life insurance business and it has gained the impetus it
deserves across all private insurance companies in India and globally in the past few years.

Corporates across the globe are well acknowledging the group coverages as a valuable inclusion in the employee
benefit coverage, which could serve as a key to attracting top talent.

SUD Life strongly believes that the ‘Value of an idea lies in using it’ and hence aa a part of our vision of becoming a
multi-channel organization, SUD Life has decided to revive its group business in the FY 2021-22, with an august and
clear vision to be the formidable player in the life insurance space.
Mr. Subhash Chandra along with his team of 8 passionate & highly skilled members are deeply inclined in making
this vision a reality!

The CIG team comprises of 5 Area Managers placed at strategic locations, hand-picked from leading premium
business schools, honed with varied exposures of the financial markets. With meticulously crafted business plan,
these managers started off with executing the plan in their respective geographies. In last 10 months, each team
member has deep dived in respective geographies to generate leads and ultimately sizeable business.

With an action plan defined till granular level in place, CIG vertical generated ~856 Cr of business premium and
has emerged as the largest business vertical in the organization last year. The new business share is ~29% against
23% last year, the channel also broke in to the top 10 IRDA ranking in the Group Business space.

Moreover, by extending inter-channel support to Corporate Agency vertical, CIG team is optimistic on leveraging
business potential of ~ 100 Cr from the corporate tie ups done recently.
