No provision in the policy shall affect the right of
any person indemnified by the policy to recover an
amount by virtue of the Motor Vehicle Act.
In the event of any accident involving indemnity to
more than one person any limitation in the forms of
the policy on the amount of indemnity shall apply to
the aggregate amount of indemnity to all persons
indemnified and such indemnity shall apply in priority
to the insured.
Q 9. What are the General Exceptions under Motor
Ans. Policy A?
Following are the General Exceptions under Motor
Policy A:
(1) The Insurer shall not be liable for any claim arising
whilst the, motor vehicle is
a) Being used otherwise than in accordance with
Limitation as to Use, or
b) Being driven by any person other than a
driver as stated in Driver's Clause.
(2) There is no liability in respect of any claim arising
out of any contractual liability.
(3) Except in so far as is necessary to meet the
requirements of the Motor Vehicles Act, the
