            A relatively small portion of respondents, 13%, did not feel they had enough knowledge of their
        insurers’  activities and  was  therefore  not  able  to  judge  their engagement.  This  proportion  varies
        significantly by gender, with 16% of women not expressing an opinion vs. 10% of men. There are also
        variations by age cohort, which tend to be inversely correlated to the engagement score, with higher

        perceived engagement score loosely linked (R =0.25) to lower “don’t know” scores.



        3.1.2.  Relevance for Insurance Purchase

            Sustainability is an important consideration for Singaporean customers, with 48% indicating that it
        is very important, 37% that it is important in conjunction with price, and only 15% thinking that it is
        less or not important, as shown in Figure 4. The results are almost identical by gender but show some
        variation across age cohorts, with younger and older respondents showing more interest in sustainability.
