by the employer.

(viii)The methods adopted by the employee to conceal
his fault and defeat the system of check and method
of supervision and the reasons as to how the shortage
escaped the notice of audit.

The investigation of fidelity guarantee claims is entrusted
to independent surveyors, preferably Chartered
Accountants. The surveyor would conduct a detailed
investigation into the circumstances of loss by examining
the books of accounts. Since this requires some time,
some preliminary exercise are carried out in the
meantime, either by the surveyor or by the officials of
the insurance company.

Q9.a) A Personal Accident Policy has been issued
including the weekly benefit cover. The
insured was involved in an accident breaking
his leg. He was totally disabled for 6 weeks.

Same accident has also made him 5% disabled
