employee is not on duty, the premium is reduced
to 50%.
(ii) Free additional benefits under individual policy -
additional benefits without any extra premium are as
follows:
(a) Carriage of dead body - Expenses incurred for
carriage of dead body of insured to the place of his
residence are reimbursed subject to 2% of Capital
Sum Insured or Rs 2500 whichever is less.
(b) Education Fund - In the event of death or
permanent or total disablement of the insured person,
the policy provides for Education Fund for the
dependent children in addition to the Capital Sum
Insured and is applicable to the Personal Accident
Individual Policy only. The benefit is limited to
maximum of Rs 5000 for one child and Rs 10000
for more than 1 child.
(iii) Group PA policy - This policy is very popular because
many progressive employers have opted for this policy
for the welfare of their employees. This policy is also
