(ii) Accidents occurring and/ or diseases contracted
prior to the commencement of the policy.
(i) International animal slaughter except in cases where
destruction is necessary to terminate incurable
sufferings based on humane considerations and
certified by a Veterinarian or where destruction is
resorted to by the order of lawfully constituted
authority.
(ii) Theft and clandestine sale of insured animal.
(iii) Pleuro pneumonia in respect of cattle in Lakimpur
and Sitasagar of Assam.
(iv) Transport by Air and Sea.
(B) Special Conditions :
(i) The insurer is not liable to pay the claim if the death
is due to a disease occurring within 15 days from
the commencement of the risk.
(ii) Claim is not payable unless the ear tags are
surrendered to the insurer. If the ear tags get
lost, it becomes the insured owner's responsibility
to notify the company and get the animal
retagged.
