When our colleagues would describe the brands and features of such
items, we wondered and imagined that after our tenure, we too, would
be taking with us, all such coveted items ourselves, along with "overseas
posted" tag and handsome savings. On top of it, the kind of facilities being
provided to staff, the ambience of the office, glitter of markets, shopping
malls and plazas in Hong Kong, were all feast to the eyes like never before.
