4. What is IoT & IIoT
Analysis of above graph :
1) This Blue line indicates that the real output of manufacturing sector has increased from
100 in 1980 to 250 in 2015
2) The jobs per million has dropped from 24.9 to 6.4 which means, may of the tasks are
now being done by IIoT devices, instead of a man.
3) The employment graph shows that there is not much deviation. It came down to about
70 in 2015, from 100 in 1980
This means the future lies in deployment of IIoT in the manufacturing sectors, if the organiza-
tion wants to be in the market with competitive pricing.
