8. What is MTConnect protocol (Continued…)
MTConnect Native – Adapter and Agent are integrated into the device and it is capable to be
connected to a network and MTConnect compliant software applications without the addition
of other components. Basically, the Device naturally communicates using the MTConnect
Standard. (Figure 2)
MTConnect Agent remotely or local host – Agent can runs like local host
program or like remotely program on the other computer in the
network. (Figure 3 below )
