5. What is CIMCO’s MDC (Manufacturing Data Collection) software

CIMCO A/S is based in Copenhagen in Denmark having presence across the globe through Re-
sellers & Business Partners. CIMCO has developed software solutions for Computer Integrated
Manufacturing (CIM). CIMCO Product line includes CNC Editors, DNC Software for reliable CNC
Communication, Manufacturing Data Collection for real time monitoring & analysis of shop
floor productivity. Production Data Management (CIMCO-PDM) for managing, control-
ling and securely storing all production related data is a very effective tool for the pa-
perless shop floor.

CIMCO have sold more than 100,000 licenses globally. CIMCO headquarters and main
training facility are located in the Danish capital Copenhagen. This is the base of oper-
ation for the sales and support team. CIMCO technical service staff travels worldwide
and has local offices in select countries.

CIMCO MDC has following software modules

1) DNC Max Server Handles data communication

2) DNC Max Client Handles communication parameters
3) NC Base Serer Stores all the live data with time stamp

4) MDC Max Client Handles user interface, Dash board & Reports
5) License Server (Optional) Handles no of modules over the network

6) Web Clients (Optional) Handles same as MDC Client, but on the web.
