11. Internet connectivity to a local server with NC Base

In IIoT the sensed data can be stored on cloud or on a local server. In order to have safety
CIMCO recommends to store the data in the local server. When a customer gets a CIMCO-
MDC license, CIMCO gives standard Database to be used in the local server. Some companies,
may have different choice of Database. The user can choose one of the following :

1) CIMCO standard Database
2) Microsoft SQL Server

3) Oracle SQL Server

To send the automatic E-mails for a pre-defined events, an internet connection to the main
desktop server (Where DNC Max & NC Base is installed) is a must. This feature is to be enabled
in DNC Max Server as shown below -
