FOREWORD

We would like to express our gratitude to the presence of
God Almighty for all His mercy and grace so that this book can
be completed well. The book is entitled "Expository text." This
was prepared to provide an in-depth understanding of
expository texts to readers, especially pupils, students and
educators.

Expository text is one type of text that is important in the
world of education because it functions to inform or explain a
topic clearly and systematically. In this book, we try to explain
the basic concepts of expository text, the structure that forms it,
and provide various relevant examples to enrich the reader's
understanding.

We realize that knowledge of expository texts is an
important key in developing writing and critical thinking skills.
Therefore, this book is prepared in language that is easy to
understand and is accompanied by illustrations and concrete
examples, so that it can be a useful reference for readers.
