If he keeps this up, rookie gelding Nineteen Crimes is going to be most wanted. Owned by Ricardo Ramirez, Nineteen
Crimes improved his career record to 3-0 and notched his initial stakes victory, taking first place in the $97,250 Desert Classic Futurity held April 27 at Turf Paradise.
Nineteen Crimes thus far has raced exclusively at the Arizona track. He broke his maiden in a 220-yard
event on March 16. Then
he prevailed in his futurity
trial, logging the top
qualifying time (:15.820) in
the process. That made him
the overwhelming favorite
for his first-ever stakes final,
going off at 3-10 odds at
post time.
The young gelding
lived up to those lofty expectations. Trained by Rigoberto Guillen, Nineteen

Crimes broke second from the No. 6 gate,
led by a 1/2 length going into the stretch
and won by that same margin. Martin
Osuna was aboard as Nineteen Crimes covered the 300 yards in :15.855, not quite
on pace with his field-topping run in trials. However, the $48,625 payday improved his total earnings to $67,188. That puts Nineteen Crimes well on his way to fulfilling the
Stablemate RR Czech This Panama (Panama Wes-Cranberry Czech) veered out at the start, bumped, recovered, and ran for second place. Emilio Tapia was in the irons.
All Da Kings Men (Eye Am King-Da Edge) hit the board in third for Jose Aguilar Mendoza. Eloy Navarro is the trainer and Luis Martinez did the riding.
Rounding out the official order of finish were KJ Ethereal (Apollitical Spirit-Xquizit), Surfers Nightmare (Corona Surfer-Sochi Moon), Panama League (Panama Wes- Imoutofyallsleague), Wish You Were Queen (Eye Am King-Wish You Had One To) and Prince Shasta (Bodacious Dash-Sparklin Royal). Prince Shasta was disqualified from fifth to eighth for moving in and bothering his foe. Rush Royalty and Secret Warning were both scratched.
Runner-up Suite Caroline (Favorite Cartel-Just A Fairytale) was coming off of a
2 3/4-length win in the first of five Hadley- Giles Futurity trials. Jesus Valenzuela rode the homebred filly for owner Blaine S. Bateman and trainer Riley Moosman.
BF Viral Interest (Seperate Interest-BF April Shower) finished third, 1-length behind All Tyme High. Jesus Canales rode the filly for owner Casey Whitaker and trainer Sergio Canales.
Chasin The Dynasty (FDD Dynasty- Chasin Savanna B), Louisiana Moves (The Louisiana Cartel-RNL Makn An Exit), Ddcanfly (FDD Dynasty-Watch Wilma Burn), Hero Lips (Jess Lips-Secret Hero), Big E (Big Lew-Miss Kissn Te), and Keep The Habit (Foose-Gotta Corona Habit) completed the order of finish. Eighth fastest qualifier KVN Grand Victory was scratched.
$97,000 Ramirez shelled out for him at the Ruidoso New Mexico-Bred Yearling Sale in 2021.
With this result, Nineteen Crimes joins his dam Ms Riptide in black type. The 2007 mare won the 2011 running of the Sam Houston Distaff Challenge. She also competed in seven graded stakes events.
Ramirez and Guillen combined for the exacta.

Asharp break from her rail post helped All Tyme High score a wire-to-wire victory in the $63,603 Hadley-Giles Futurity at Weber Downs near Ogden, Utah on April 30.
Prepped by Riley Moosman for owner Jim Nebeker, All Tyme High covered 300 yards
in :15.722 while defeating fastest qualifier Suite Caroline by a 1/2-length. Cesar Moreno rode the daughter of Moonin The Eagle, who earned a 93 speed index and $25,441 from her first career stakes score.
All Tyme High was bred in Texas by Bobby D. Cox, a four-time American Quarter Horse Association Champion Breeder who was inducted into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame in 2017. The filly was purchased by Ron Moosman for $37,000 at last year’s Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale.
All Tyme High is out of All About Ease, a
homebred First Down Dash mare who won the 2004 Ruidoso Futurity-G1. All About Ease has produced four other stakes winners, all of whom are half-siblings to All Tyme High, including multiple Grade 1 winner Chazaq, 2009 Rainbow Futurity-G1 winner Zoomin With Ease, and 2013 Hobbs America Derby-G3 winner All About Torque.
All Tyme High’s third dam, the Dash For Cash mare Dash Again, won the 1981
Kindergarten Futurity at Los Alamitos. The filly traces back to her fourth dam, Elan Again, a daughter of World Champion Jet Deck and the sport’s Champion Aged Mare in 1975.
The third-fastest qualifier, All Tyme High made her career debut with a 1-length victory in one of five Hadley- Giles Futurity trials on April 9. The filly has won both of her outs and has banked $26,441.
