Less than two months after making her competitive debut, JR Prissys Blood picked up her first win in stakes company, prevailing in the $99,681 Cowboy
State Futurity at Energy Downs on June 29.
With Jesus Valenzuela aboard, JR Prissys Blood
broke from the six-gate running a close third at
first call, then moved into the lead by 3/4-length
as she entered the stretch. Makn Risky Moves, the post-time favorite, made a late bid for the win, but JR Prissys Blood withstood her with a big finish and reached the wire first by a head.
Riley Moosman trains JR Prissys Blood, who completed her 350-yard trip in :17.349 for a 105 speed index. Homebred by J R Stables, JR Prissys Blood has improved her bankroll to $42,171 with the addition of the $39,871 prize from this race.

Makn Risky Moves (Maknmoves-DK Give Alittle Bit) was 2nd under Uriel Dominguez for owner Jessica Hadley & trainer Jordan Hadley. Another Moosman trainee, Liquid Courage B (FDD Dynasty- First Class Lacy B) was 3rd for owner Adrian Aleman and rider Never Marin. Followed by BP Southern Suzie (Corona Cartel-BP Down South), AP Bear Lake (JR Dynasty Mountain-Miss Kissn Te), Fire Hero (Valiant Hero-Separate Fire), Valiant Virgo (Valiant Hero-Hot As Diamonds), Pappas Party (Pappasito-Isa Party Crasher), Mauis Interested (Seperate Interest- Gigarad) and Talk Alot (TR Dasher-Too Gabby).

GOTTA LOTTA PAPA

Gotta Lotta Papa got the money in the $64,900 Wyoming All Breed Futurity at Energy Downs on June 30.
Under Jesus Valenzuela, the filly broke from the four-post in front. They never relinquished the lead, crossing the finish wire-to-wire 1-length in front.
The pair completed the 300 yards in :15.454, posting a 101 speed index.
Gotta Lotta Papa bagged the $22,715 winner’s share of the purse, boosting her total earnings to $24,115. Riley Moosman trains the filly.
Owned by Ron and Kathy Moosman, Gotta Lotta Papa has competed in Idaho and Wyoming, and now has a race record of 3-2(1)-0-0.
Bryce Moosman bred Gotta Lotta Papa out of Lotta Kat Moves, winner of the 2007 Utah Classic Futurity and Beehive Futurity. She has produced 100% money earners from four starters, including Utah Bred Futurity winner BK Katniss who was also a finalist in the Wyoming Downs Derby and Western States Breeders’ Derby. Gotta Lotta Papa is her second stakes winner. His second dam is Silver Dollar Futurity-G1 finalist Lotta Scout.
A Lucky Thunder Cat (Red Storm Cat-Lucky TR) finished a strong second under Jesus Canales for owner Aron Saenz and trainer Diana Garfias.
Version Star (Winners Version-Diva Star TB) and Oscar Cervantes were third for owner Abelardo Gonzalez and trainer Jose Chacon. The gelding won his trial to the Wyoming All Breed Futurity.
Steffies Dashn Moves (Maknmoves- Steffiesclassic Dash), Eyesa Special Snoopi (Eyesa Special Slim-Lil Charolette Swirl), Brash And Sassy (Conn Creek-LP Sure And Proud), Jess
Frilly (Adashofjess-Silver Frills), Rays Lane (Conn Creek-A Dash Of Steffi), Jims Highlite (Pappasito- Josie Bassett) and Cathouse Affair (Jess My Moon- Cathouse Katie) completed the order of finish.

ADash Of Destiny dashed to her first stakes vic- tory in the $34,200 Wyoming All Breed Derby at Energy Downs on June 30.
Under Jose Figueroa, the filly broke from the eight-post in third, but quickly grabbed the lead and crossed the wire 3/4-length in front.
The duo completed the 350 yards in :17.831, posting a 90 speed index.
A Dash Of Destiny brought home the $11,970 winner’s share of the purse for owner Aron Saenz and trainer Diana Garfias, boosting her total lifetime earnings to $34,200.
A Dash Of Destiny has now won five races from eight starts. She was a finalist in the Sweetwater Wyoming Bred Futurity last year.
Ron and Laurie Moosman bred A Dash Of Dynasty out of four-time winner A Dash Of
Steffi, who was a finalist in the 2003 Silver Dollar Futurity-G2 as well as in the Utah Sires’ Fall Futurity-G3. She has produced four winners from eight starters, including 2013 Hawthorne Futurity winner Steffiesclassic Dash, who was also a runner- up in the Rocky Mountain Spring Classic Futurity. A Dash Of Dynasty is her second stakes winner.
Brindis Cruz (Brindis Por Cayenne-GM Check Her Out) finished second under Santiago Jimenez for owner Lana Matt and trainer Jess Matt.
Diana Garfias also trained third place finisher CD Proud Flyin D Kas (View Me Flying-JPS Super De Lizzie). Jesus Canales rode the filly for owners Daniel and Carol Lee.
