BF FOOSERAGEOUS

Fourth-fastest qualifier from the June 17 trials, BF Fooserageous, a homebred filly who has never finished worse than second in any of her races,
scored her third career stakes victory in the $44,370 Adequan Ruidoso Derby Challenge on July 2.
Racing for Birrell Farms of Lehi, Utah, and against a 12-mph head wind, BF Fooserageous defeated fastest qualifier The Fiscal Cliff by a neck in :19.955 for 400 yards. Adrian Ramos rode BF Fooserageous for trainer Wes Giles.
In addition to banking the $18,340 win- ner’s share of the purse, the filly landed a berth in the $200,000 Adequan Derby Challenge Championship-G2 at Los Alamitos.
BF Fooserageoushas won seven of her 10 outs
and the $18,340 winner’s share take her earnings
to $99,653. She also won the 2015 South Valley Futurity and Utah Bred Futurity, and was second
in this year’s West Texas Derby-G3. The filly is
one of four winners from five starters foaled by BF Outrageous, the dam of 100% money earners who won the ’03 Diamond Classic Derby. BF Fooserageous is a 1/2-brother to stakes placed BF Regal Rage.
Second-placed The Fiscal Cliff (Pyc Paint Your Wagon-Signs Zoomer) is a homebred colt owned by Tom Lepic of Iowa City, Iowa. Cesar Gomez rode for trainer Kasey Willis.
Phoebesdynasty (Fdd Dynasty-My Special Phoebe) ran third for Kirk M. Goodfellow. Salvador Martinez rode the homebred for trainer Cody Reynolds.
Zoomin Racer (Jess Zoomin-Racing Winner), My Streakin La Jolla (Tempting Dash-Prissy La Jolla), Msg Wicked Hussy (Terribly Wicked-Fetching Image), Aventador (Pyc Paint Your Wagon-The Way You Want Me), Zoobie Cartel (Corona Cartel- Zoobilee), My Mojito (Jesse James Jr-Reacorona), and They Seis Im Quick (Tres Seis-One Quick Cookie) completed the order of finish.

INFINITE BULL TB

Infinite Bull, a homebred Thoroughbred five-year- old gelding owned by Gary Balzano’s Tucumcari Thoroughbreds, was a prompt favorite in the
$35,800 New Mexico Horsemen’s Association Handicap for state-bred Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds on June 17.
Ridden by Norberto Arroyo, Jr. for trainer Greg Green, Infinite Bull was one of four Thoroughbreds in the seven-horse field. The gelding went 870 yards in :45.126 while earning his second win in four outs at the distance.
All told, Infinite Bull has won seven of 19 starts, including five of 15 against Thoroughbreds. The $21,480 winner’s share of this purse from his second career stakes victory pushed his bankroll
to $214,115, of which $52,400 has been earned against Quarter Horses. Last year, he won the 4 1/2-furlong $85,270 Mt. Cristo Rey Handicap at Sunland Park and placed third in the 870-yard $60,000 Lobo Championship Stakes at The Downs at Albuquerque.
Infinite Bull is one of four winners from as many starters foaled by Fancy Numbers, a winning daughter of Polish Numbers and a half-sister to the stakes-placed filly Golden Style.
Weappear (Devon Lane-Reappear) finished second and races for Ruth Summers and was trained by her daughter, former jockey Nancy Summers. Christian Santiago Reyes rode the 4-year-old geld- ing. Swiss Chris (Swissle Stick-Ace Crystal Charm) ran third for owner Moises Brito Hernandez. Ricardo Jaime rode the 5-year-old gelding for trainer Armando Quintanilla Jr. Oly Oly In Free (Voice Of Reason-Ole’elena), Beaumont Time TB (Your Eminence-Tessa Time), Midnightlowdown TB (Stormin’ Lyon-Phoney Exchange), and Sierra Ladron (Pragmatic-Total Miracle) completed the order of finish. Beauwizer scratched.
Four Corners Futurity
A FANCY LA JOLLA

Asharp break from the nine post helped A Fancy La Jolla earn a 1 3/4-length win in the $81,549 Four Corners Futurity at SunRay Park on June 19.
Racing for Currie J. Maben of Clovis, New Mexico, and aided by an 8-mph tail wind, A Fancy La Jolla went 350 yards in :17.233. Daniel Amaya rode the filly for trainer Jaime Aldavaz, Sr.
A Fancy La Jolla posted the fourth-fastest qualifying time when he ran second, a neck behind third-fastest qualifier Eagleistic, in one of four Four Corners Futurity trials on June 3.
“I was confident we had enough horse to win this futurity,” Aldavaz said after the race.
Raced exclusively at SunRay Park, A Fancy La Jolla has now won two of three starts, and the $38,328 winner’s share of the purse from his first stakes score pushed his bankroll to $47,163.
A Fancy La Jolla was bred in New Mexico by
the late Gianni Franco Samaja and is one of three winners from as many starters foaled by the winning mare Babydoll La Jolla. The filly’s second dam, Babydashn, was a finalist in two graded futurities
in Oklahoma in ’02, including the Heritage Place Futurity-G1 at Remington Park.
White Russsian (Swissle Stick-Alice K White)
ran 2nd under Alonso Rivera for owner Cuadra
San Juditas LLC, which acquired the gelding for $7,500 at last year’s New Mexico-Bred Yearling Sale, and trainer Javier Roman Jr. Donnie E. Johnson’s Eagleistic (Flyingwitheagles-American Gator) ran 3rd under Jose Luis Enriquez for trainer Cody Reynolds. Followed by FDD Ming Dynasty (FDD Dynasty-Fly Thru Time), Wiplash (Apollitical Jess-Eye Caughtcha Peekin), Robi James (Ivory James-Miss Robi Alaura), Kinda Hi (Hiclass La Jolla-A Lil Bit Special), BF Chasing Foose (Foose-BF Lollypop), Pee Bee N James (Ivory James-Pat B Stylin) & DQ’d from 5th to last RGR Fastlane Ta Fame (King Aire-Heart Fire).
