PYCS LITTLE LADY

Pycs Little Lady, a bay filly racing for Heysol Howlet of Peyton, Colorado, scored her second stakes victory in the 440-yard First Down Dash
Stakes at Ruidoso Downs on Sept. 6.

Pycs Little Lady, the filly made her quarter-mile trip in :21.584 under jockey Manuel Gutierrez. Her margin of victory was 1/2-length over Glock. The $42,000 winner’s share of the $100,000 purse increased her earnings to $160,327.
Raced exclusively in New Mexico, Pycs Little Lady has won five of 12 starts, including last year’s 400-yard $154,925 Sunland Park Winter Futurity-G2.
Pycs Little Lady is one of three winners from six starters foaled by Grade 3 winner Fitness Lady. Pycs Little Lady is a 1/2-sister to This Lady Is On Fire, who ran third in last year’s Animas Stakes at SunRay Park and was a finalist in the Rainbow Derby-G1 at Ruidoso Downs.
2nd-placed Glock (Foose-Babe On The Fly) races for Paul Blanchard of Albuquerque from the barn
of trainer Paul Jones. Ricky Ramirez rode the sorrel colt, who is a full brother to multiple Grade 1 winner Rock You.
Tenacious (Coronas Leaving You-Perrys Splash N Dash) finished third for owners J Bar 7 Ranch, Dream Walkin Farms Inc., and Brenda Jones. Cody Jensen rode the brown gelding for trainer C. Dwayne “Sleepy” Gilbreath.
Ima Tempting Dash (Tempting Dash-Ima Perry) ran fourth and was followed by Cobalt Creek (Walk Thru Fire-Checknbac), Eagle On The Fly (One Famous Eagle-Ladys Heart Of Gold), First Fancy Chic (Chicks Regard-First Prize Fancy), WL Mr Goodtime (This Snow Is Royal-Sir Alibi Linda), You N Me (Teller Cartel-Fancys First Affair), and MDA Game (Game Patriot-Mary Roll).

CR TUCKERNUCK

Kharlottie Grace Urschel’s CR Tuckernuck led at every call en route to a 2 3/4-length victory in the $20,000 Bill Reed Memorial Stakes at Ruidoso
Downs on Sept. 5.
Prepped by Stacey Capps and ridden by Ricky
Ramirez, CR Tuckernuck went 870 yards in :46.089 while scoring his first stakes win. The 4-year-old gelding was coming off of a second-place finish in the 870-yard $30,000 Master Salls Handicap on Aug. 9.
All told, CR Tuckernuck has won five of 18 races and has banked $124,000, of which $38,871 was earned during a 2-year-old season in which he was a finalist in the $1-million Texas Classic Futurity-G1 at Lone Star Park. He also was a finalist in the 2014 Ruidoso Derby-G1.
A resident of Canadian, Texas, Urschel, 13, is the great-granddaughter of longtime breeders Dan and Jolene Urschel. CR Tuckernuck was a gift from her great-grandparents, who acquired the gelding for $40,000 at the 2012 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale. “Lottie” Urschel is part of the sixth generation of her family to be involved in Quarter Horse racing.
CR Tuckernuck was bred by Weetona Stanley and William E. Smith of Madill, Oklahoma. The gelding is one of nine winners from 13 starters produced by winner Fast Prize Corona. One of
CR Tuckernuck’s half siblings, the colt Spit Like Jagger, won the 2013 Speedhorse Futurity-G2 at Fair Meadows in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Followed by Scoot With Da Loot (Heza Motor Scooter-Phoebe Wallingford) and Linda Tee Fire (Walk Thru Fire-Jess Linda Tee).

Zoomin Effortlessly, a 4-year-old gelding racing
for Telesforo Perrett of Houston, scored his
first Grade 1 win in the 440-yard Refrigerator Handicap-G1 at Lone Star Park on Oct. 3.
Ridden by Santos Carrizales for trainer Edelmiro Carrizales, Zoomin Effortlessly made his quarter- mile trip in :21.312 while defeating Moonin The Eagle by 1/2-length. The $42,750 winner’s share of the $75,000 purse boosted his earnings to $123,401, of which $101,247 has been banked this season.
A $10,000 claimer during the 2014 Lone Star Park meet, Zoomin Effortlessly has won 11 of 18 starts. He boasts a 5-race win streak that includes a 1 1/4-length victory in the June 27, 400-yard TQHA Sires’ Cup Stakes, which he won in a track-record :19.493. Zoomin Effortlessly was bred by Tommy R. Charbula of Edna, Texas. The gelding is the first winner from two starters foaled by the unplaced mare Royal Quick Affair.
Moonin The Eagle (One Famous Eagle-Your First Moon) was 2nd under Esgar Ramirez for Gregorio Garcia Garza & trainer Rolando Almanza. The 3-year-old colt was a finalist in the $1,067,908 Rainbow Derby-G1 on July 18. Mr Jo Eagle (One Famous Eagle-First Place Diamond) ran 3rd under Agustin Silva for Dan Nicks, who also bred the 4-year-old geld-
ing, and trainer R.L. “Rick” Robinson. Followed by Jody Pops Zoomer (Zoomin For Bux-Jody Pops Little Six), Charvet (One Famous Eagle-Bloomingdales), Grade 1 winner and 9-5 favorite Dashin Brown Streak (Hotdoggin-Annas Streakin Dash), Rockin Disco (Rock Solid Jess-Check This Disco), Sleepers Best Corona (Coronas Prospect-Call Me The Sleeper) & Jessies First Down (FDD Dynasty-Jess A Classy Lassy).
The Refrigerator Handicap honors the memory of Refrigerator, the sport’s World Champion in 1992 and ’93. A member of the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame, Refrigerator died in 1999.
