Edwin Lujan picked up the mount
on Hierarchy (FDD Dynasty-Platinum Performance), who was qualified by rider Ricky Ramirez. Lujan made the most of the oppor- tunity, finishing third on the gelding, whose team includes owner Paragon Farms LLC and winning trainer Rodolfo Valles. Hierarchy also won his Ruidoso Derby trial, finishing the contest a head in front and scoring the seventh fastest qualifying position.
