Expo Square Stakes
BLAZEN PANTHER

Marathon distance specialist Blazen Panther made it three consecutive wins and back-to- back stakes scores with a dominating victory in the
$17,000 Expo Square Stakes at Fair Meadows on June 23.
With regular rider Daniel Torres in the irons, Blazen Panther tracked the early leaders from third position early in the 870-yard event. Vying for command 3-wide on the turn, Blazen Panther took the lead in the stretch and drew clear late to defeat Admiral Zoomwalt by 1 1/4-lengths. The odds-on favorite, Blazen Panther completed the distance in :46.050, earning a 93 speed index.
Fresh off a win in the Remington Distance Championship Stakes-G2, Blazen Panther improved his record to 38-10(3)-10(2)-5 with this victory marking his third stakes tally. The gelding also annexed the 2017 Walter Merrick Memorial Stakes. The $10,446 winner’s share of the Expo Square purse increased his earnings to $179,654 for owner and trainer Luz Chavira.
B. Cockrell and L. Vanhoozer bred Blazen Panther out of 8 time winner and 3-time stakes winner Blazen Madie. She has produced 100% money earners from 7 starters, including Oklahoma Hi-Point Claiming Horse Blazen Getaway. Blazen Panther is her first stakes winner and top earner.
Admiral Zoomwalt (Shazoom-Tellin It All) and Curtis Kimes finished second for owners Rogelio Marquez Jr. & Kathy Robinson and trainer Amanda Tongay. Blow Fly Crank (Rock Solid Jess-Dash Leader) saved ground along the inside and finished third under Bryan Ernst for owner/trainer Donald Davidson.
Your Linus (Streak and Dash-Miss High Toast), Bazoooka (Bodacious Dash-Three Sisters TB) and Pbclassydiamondblanc (Mount Blanc-Shine Master Lad) completed the order of finish.

Redneckedness showed plenty of class in scoring the first stakes win of her young career, prov- ing best over 9 rivals in the $15,500 Fair Meadows
Juvenile Stakes on June 23.
Piloted by James Flores, Redneckedness broke
sharply in the 350-yard dash and immediately engaged for the lead, dueling with race favorite Bodaciouscandywagon away from the gate. The two disputed the race throughout, with Redneckedness edging clear late to register the 1/2-length victory. Bodaciouscandywagon and jockey Omar Reyes held second over third-place finisher Jesse Joe and jockey Roberto Meraz Jr.
Redneckedness covered the distance in :17.938, earning a 85 speed index. It was the second win and first stakes score for the 2-year-old bay filly, who improved her record to 4-2(1)-1-0 and boosted her bankroll to $22,482 with the $8,730 winner’s share of this race for owner Good Memories LLC. Amanda Tongay saddled the winner, who broke her maiden on her second out at Remington Park in March.
Belinda Shaw bred Redneckedness out of 2-time winner And Poof Shes Gone. The filly is her first starter from two foals.
PV Quarter Horse Farms LLC owns runner-up, Bodaciouscandywagon (Bodacious Dash-Roll On Candy Wagon), who is trained by Clinton Crawford.
Joe Casarez campaigns third-place finisher Jesse Joe (Coronas Prospect-Jessie My Girl), who is trained by Robert Esqueda.

N Prizes, (Mighty B Valiant-First Prize Shaunda) Jakes Baby Wagon (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Jakes Charming Jody), Ivory Will Do (Ivory James-Eyes Will Do) and Snow Prize (Hez Our Secret-First Prize Pearl) completed the order of finish. Fddapache fell at the start and was vanned off.
Belles Stakes
EYE EYE CAPTAIN

Eye Eye Captain secured her first stakes victory in the $17,000 Belles Stakes at Fair Meadows at Tulsa on June 30.
Eye Eye Captain broke on top from the outside post under jockey Rolando Raudales in the 350-yard event. She never let anyone past her, despite a furious duel mid-race with Diamonds For Codee. At the wire, Eye Eye Captain drew off to win by 1-length in :17.551, posting a 96 speed index.
Eye Eye Captain brought home the $10,230 win- ner’s share of the purse for owner David Clonts and trainer Guillermo Valdivia, boosting her total lifetime earnings to $79,486. Her record is now 21-3(1)-8(2)-3.
Clonts bred the filly in Oklahoma from his homebred mare Eye My Alexis, winner of the 2001 Oklahoma Horsemen’s Association Futurity-RG3. She has produced 100% money earners from 11 starters, including New Track Record setter Smoking Past You, winner of the Oklahoma Horsemen’s Association Derby-RG3, and Smokin By You, win- ner of the Remington Park Juvenile Stakes. Eye Eye Captain is her third stakes winner.
Whosgonegirl (One Sweet Jess-Whosleaving Corona) finished second under James Flores for owner/trainer Antonio Martinez.
Diamonds For Codee (Carters Cartel-This Dash Is Flying) and Cody Wainscott came in third for owners Brandon Reystead and R.C. Howell, who also trains the mare.
Effortless Chic Desi (Desirio-Effortless
Jessie) finished fourth, while Double Eagle (One Dashing Eagle-A Southern Gal) and JC Wild Rose (Apollitical Jess-Oh Cherokee Rose) dead-heated for fifth. They were followed by Splash A Tac (Tac It Like A Man-Ms Posh), Get There (Fantastic Corona Jr-Jess Racy Eyes), Eurapollitical Girl (Apollitical Jess-KGB Agent Anna) and A Mine Of Our Own (Prospect To The Top-Maggie Redmond).
