RC ME LEAVING YOU

It was a bumpy start, but a fine finish for RC Me Leaving You in the B.F. Phillips Jr. Stakes. Noe Villatoro rode the four-year-old colt to victory in the
$25,000 stakes at Lone Star Park on Nov. 5.
Judd Kearl trains RC Me Leaving You, who got
jostled emerging from the 4-gate. He settled, was running third going into the stretch, then chased down One Dimple during the final yards to win the race.
RC Me Leaving You completed the 400-yard event in :19.801, posting a 91 speed index.
It marked the second straight win, both in stakes events, for RC Me Leaving You. In his prior out on Sept. 16, he won the Neville Document Solutions Stakes, also held at Lone Star Park. The colt’s owners, Bennie and Teresa Jeter, collected a $15,250 payday for this win that improved the horse’s total earnings to $150,402. RC Me Leaving You now has reached the winner’s circle five times in 19 career starts.
RC Running Horses bred RC Me Leaving You
as well as his dam, Sixy Bottom, a lightly-raced 1993 mare who produced 100% money earners from seven starters. RC Me Leaving You is her top earner and first stakes winner.
One Dimple (One Famous Eagle-Dimples First Dash) finished a game second for owner/trainer Javier Noel Contreras. Manuel Gutierrez drew the riding assignment.
Notavailableinstores (One Famous Eagle-Open With Cash) placed third for Valeriano Racing Stables, LLC. Toby Keeton is the trainer and Benito Baca was in the irons.
KW Cowboy (Mighty Corona-Tres Dia Noche), Blue Duck La Jolla (Hiclass La Jolla-Sandra Walker), Kid Can Dash (Down N Dash-Quickid Perry) and Iknow Heknows Iknow (Tres Seis-Dashing Patriot) completed the field. Apollitical Wave and Governor Pete were scratched.

The Dash For Cash Juvenile was run at Lone
Star Park on Oct. 8 with a purse of $42,735. Desdemona Rambler broke third from the 4-post with a huge lane to run and took a straight and true course to the finish line.
Jose Alvarez was able to coax his mount to finish a head in front. They stopped the clock at :19.963 for the 400-yard contest, earning an 87 speed index. Desdemona Rambler improved his earnings to $82,766 with the $10,684 winner’s share of the purse. The colt now has three wins out of seven starts.
Desdemona Rambler’s connections include owner/breeder Dan Grube and trainer Brian Stroud. The sorrel colt is out of 3-time winner Kritters Effort. She has produced 100% earn-
ers from two starters. Desdemona Rambler is her only stakes winner and top earner. He also has third place finishes in the 2016 Sam Houston Futurity-G2 at Sam Houston and the 2016 Retama Juvenile Challenge at Retama Park.
Tac My Time (Tac It Like A Man-Timer Opener) finished second under Francisco Calderon for owner Marco X. Ramirez and Gary W. Hartstack and trainer Leon Bard.
Hes A Runnning Perry (Mr Jess Perry-Runnning Brook Gal) finished third. He is owned by A&C Racing and Roping and trained by Trey Wood. Ricky Ramirez was up.

This Wagons Okay led the way in the 220-yard Ned Goutierrez Memorial Stakes at Evangeline Downs on Oct. 29.
The gelding broke second under Antonio Alberto from the 6-post just behind Scoopies Leaving You. This Wagons Okay held sway through the stretch and took the lead at the finish, besting the competi- tion by 1/2-length at the wire.
The bay gelding stopped the timer at :11.773 and earned a 97 speed index. The $9,000 winner’s share of the purse boosted the five year old’s earn- ings to $161,930.
This Wagons Okay was bred in Oklahoma
by Michael A. Pohl out of graded stakes winner/ New Track Record setter This Candys Okay.
The mare won the 2007 Black Gold Futurity Championship-RG3 and the Black Gold 300 Futurity. She has produced 100% money earners from five starters, This Wagons Okay is her top earner. The gelding won the 2014 Altoona Derby at Prairie Meadows and the 2015 Great Lakes Stakes at Canterbury Park.
Scoopies Leaving You (Coronas Leaving You-Ms Scoopies Toast) earned second place money for owner Joel Galindo and trainer Kevin Broussard. Donald Watson was handling the reins.
