Rob That Wagon added a second stakes win to his impressive rookie record, out-dueling Jess Send It in the $48,960 John Deere Sandy Downs Juvenile
Challenge on July 20.
Trained by Mark Hanson, Rob That Wagon broke
well from the 5-post, led by a nose at the first call, stay- ing just ahead of Jess Send It all the way to the wire. Nikeela Black was aboard for the 350-yard trip that took :17.355 and earned a career-best 103 speed index.
Owned by Robin Dunn and RTM Stables LLC, Rob That Wagon logged his fourth consecutive win in six starts this season. That streak includes a victory in the Bitterroot Futurity, also at Sandy Downs.
The $22,521 payday from this second stakes win increased the gelding’s total bankroll to $61,313 and put Rob That Wagon in line for another big payday, as he qualified for the $125,000 estimated John Deere Juvenile Challenge Championship-G2, which is set for Nov. 17 at Los Alamitos.
Bob and Jerry Gaston bred Rob That Wagon out of 3-time winner and multiple graded stakes finalist First Tea Rose. She has produced 100% money earners from eight starters, including top earner and stakes winner Rock That Wagon.
Jess Send It (Corona Cartel-Jess For Me) was sec- ond under Jesus Valenzuela for owner Keith Nielson and trainer Riley Moosman. Fames Prize Stone (First Prize Stone-Go For Fame) and Cordarelton Benn were third for owners Gary & Jeralyn Messenger and trainer Monty Arrossa.

LOVE TO REASON BR

Love To Reason BR posted her 3rd consecutive victory and 2nd in stakes company, winning the $34,560 Boehringer Ingelheim Sandy Downs Distaff Challenge
on July 4. The mare posted the fastest qualifying
time in the June 22 trials, winning her heat by 3 3/4-lengths in :19.569 for a 101 speed index. The Farrol Cunningham trainee showed even more speed in the finals. Breaking from the 1-post under Oscar Cervantes, Love To Reason BR was 2nd from the gate. She led by
a nose as she entered the stretch and held on to win by a neck, finishing the 400-yard trip in :19.361 and logging a 106 speed index that matched her career high.
CMH Welding LLC owns Love To Reason BR,
a 5-year-old mare who produced a $15,898 payday in this race, increasing her earnings to $48,248 of which $34,660 was earned this year. She also won the Sun Downs Distaff Challenge in May and is in line for a huge potential payday in the Boehringer Ingelheim Distaff Chal. Champ.-G1 at Los Alamitos on Nov. 17.
Benny Rosset bred Love To Reason BR, who now has a race record of 15-5(2)-4-3(2) with 3rds the 2015 Hawthorne Futurity & 2016 Laurel Brown Derby. Love To Reason BR is out of 5-time stakes winner Strength In Numbers, dam of 100% money earners including additional stakes winners Lonely In Front BR and Mr Perry Strong, her top earner.

RTM Moonshine (Separatist-Shirleys Secret), who won the 2016 Idaho Cup Derby, was 3rd under Rene Gutierrez for RTM Stables LLC & trainer Mark Hanson. Followed by Dahteste (One Famous Eagle-Ladys Heart Of Gold), Jess A Lil Fishy (Apollitical Jess-Lil Fishy), Kono (Dashair- Italian Princess), Kissin Kate Barlow (TR Dasher-Apollos Winner), Betrothen (Walk Thru Fire-Flo Jo Lady), Tic Tac Attack (Tac It Like A Man-Harney Girl) & Dashing Executive (First Down Dash-Executive Looks).
IQHA Idaho Cup Futurity

A15-1 longshot at post time, Pickle Dilly soured the plans of the favorites in the IQHA Idaho Cup Futurity, leading at every call in the $21,737 stakes event at Sandy Downs on July 20.
Dave Merritt home-bred Pickle Dilly, a two- year-old colt who scored his first career win in his fourth out. Pickle Dilly posted the second-fastest qualifying time for the futurity, covering the 350 yards in :17.725 on July 4.
In the futurity finals, Pickle Dilly broke on top from the inside starting gate, led by a neck at the first call and maintained that narrow effort at every remaining call.
The colt surpassed his trial effort in the stakes finals, finishing in :17.533 for a career-best 97 speed index. Jarrett Mills trains Pickle Dilly, who had jockey Leonardo Gonzales in the irons. The stakes victory produced a $8,694 reward and boosted the colts total earnings to $8,944. His race record is now 1(1)-1-0 from five career outs.
Merritt also owns Pickle Dilly’s dam, lightly raced Dilligass. She has produced 100% winners from two starters, including additonal winner Zipperdilly. Pickle Dilly is her first stakes winner and top money earner.
Fastest qualifier He Looks Royal (Royal Shake Em-Mothers Gift) and Jesus Canales finished second for owners RTM Stables, LLC, Larry Chapple & Dick Wasia and trainer Mark Hanson. Merritt also owns Zipperdilly (Foose-Dilligass), who finished third under Raymundo Torres for trainer Jarrett Mills.
