Wyoming Downs Futurity
STOLIN TRAIN

Stolin Train broke his maiden in the $34,900 Wyoming Downs Futurity on August 19. Under Francisco Linan, the gelding broke from the 1-post in front by a nose. They stayed there throughout, extending their lead to 1/2-length as they crossed the wire.
They completed the 350 yards in :17.747, posting a career-best 90 speed index.
Stolin Train brought home the $16,403 winner’s share of the purse for owner Albert E. Sacco and trainer Scott Goodrich, pushing his total bankroll to $16,763.
Stolin Train made his debut with a second-place finish in one of five Wyoming Downs Futurity trials on Aug. 4 for the 8th qualifying spot.
Stolin Train was bred by The Running A LLC out of lightly raced Stoli Girl. She has produced 100% money earners from three starters. Stolin Train is her first stakes winner and Stolin Diamond is her top earner. Stolin Train’s second dam, Go
For The Diamonds, won five of seven starts in the Intermountain region in 2003, including the $72,173 Silver Dollar Futurity-RG2 at Wyoming Downs.
Femme Fatalia (Favorite Cartel-Kool Kue Chick) and Cordarelton Benn were second for owner Melody A. Olsen and trainer Glade Van Tassell.
Louisiana EZ (The Louisiana Cartel-Newarcos Bambina) finished third under Raymundo Torres for owners Dennis Jensen & Randy Young and trainer Diana Garfias.
Mighty B Royal (Mighty B Valiant- Howboutaloan), Heztwoforthedough (Twoforthedough-Shezeverythingnmore), Cir Home Run KYZ (Hard Hitting-Cir Perfect Style), Sheza Vital Secret (We Have A Secret-Sheza Signature), BK Talazar (Winners Version-Pampa Glory) and Locomotion Girl (Desirio-Commotion Motion) completed the order of finish.
Elko Intermountain Futurity
SILVER JET DASH

After qualifying the quickest for the Elko Intermountain Futurity on Aug. 25, Silver Jet Dash proved to be the fastest in the $37,000 finals at Elko County Fair on Sept. 3.
Under Pedro Gonzalez, the colt broke from the 6-gate in fourth and was running a close third at the first call. He darted between two rivals during the final yards, beating his foes at the wire by a neck.
They completed the 350 yards in :17.650, posting a 101 speed index.
Silver Jet Dash brought home the $14,800 winner’s share of the purse for owner/trainer Fredy Olmos, boosting his cumulative earnings to $39,144.
The colt secured his fourth win in his eighth lifetime starts and his first victory in stakes company after a couple of near-misses in prior competitions at that level. The gelding placed second in this year’s Bitterroot Futurity and third in the Rocky Mountain Spring Classic Futurity.
Irwin Wall bred Silver Jet Dash out of 2-time winner Fancy Smoking Jet. She has produced 100% winners from four starters. Silver Jet Dash is her first stakes winner and top earner.
JR Stables owns the other two horses who finished in the top three, both of whom were trained by Riley Moosman. JR Dynasty Czech (JR Dynasty Mountain-JR Czech Swing) finished second under Leonardo Gonzalez.
JR Tinkup (First Prize Stone-JR Dash Of Shania) and Jesus Valenzuela were third.
Shesa Dashair (Dashair-Shesaspeedin Bullet), First Won Down (First Down Dash-Preslee The First), Sirshezarunaway (Sir Runaway Dash-Shez Jess Magic), Classy At It Dude (Class Jump-BS Makin Us Wait), DK First Frost (Coronado Cartel-A Special First) and Dust A Tac (Tac It Like A Man-Deans Dusty Bunny) completed the order of finish. Hot Lil Leesa scratched.
Elko County Derby
DAHTESTE

Dashteste scored her first stakes victory in the $22,500 Elko County Derby at the Elko County Fair Grounds on Sept. 3.
The three-year-old filly broke well under Leonardo Gonzalez from the outside starting gate, led by a head as she entered the stretch, and pulled away late to secure the 1/2-length victory.
Her 400-yard trip took :20.119, posting a 92 speed index.
Dahteste brought home the $9,000 winner’s share of the purse for owner Christine Hudson and trainer Riley Moosman, boosting her total lifetime earnings to $17,292.
The filly now has a race record of 8-3(1)-0-3(1), which includes a third place finish in the Sandy Downs Distaff Challenge earlier this year.
Christine Hudson bred Dahteste out of unraced Ladys Heart Of Gold. She has produced eight win- ners from nine starters, including stakes winner and All American Futurity-G1 runner-up and top earner One Fabulous Eagle, as well as Lubbock Stakes-G3 winner Eagle On The Fly. Dahteste is her third stakes winner.
Striven (Stel Corona-Motherless) finished second under Pedro Gonzalez for owner/trainer Inoel Chavez.
Krash Your Party (Krash Cartel-Hasta La Veesta) placed third under Uriel Dominguez for owner BNB Racing, Inc. and trainer Ricardo Castillo.
