WHR Open Futurity
MIGHTY B ROYAL

Fastest qualifier Mighty B Royal soared to his first stakes victory in the $28,500 WHR Open Futurity at Sweetwater Downs on Sept. 9.
Under Uriel Dominguez, Mighty B Royal broke on top from the 3-post. He stayed there throughout to cross the wire 1-length in front.
They completed the 350 yards in :17.512, posting a 95 speed index.
Mighty B Royal brought home the $11,400 win- ner’s share of the purse for owners Elsha McGarry & Ross Brown, who is also the trainer, boosting his total lifetime earnings to $31,171.
The brown gelding also won his Aug. 25 trial wire-to-wire by 1-length. He now has a race record of 7-5(1)-0-1(1), including a third place finish in the Cowboy State Futurity earlier this year.
Dan Moon bred Mighty B Royal from winner Howboutaloan, half-sister to Hadtobeawinner, winner of the 2010 Dixie Downs Futurity and 2011 Sweetwater Downs Derby. Howboutaloan has produced 100% winners from two starters. Mighty B Royal is her first stakes winner and top earner.

ers Jerald & Lacie Davenport and trainer Chad Giles.
Sheebe A Banshee (Sir Runaway Dash-Sheebe A Blazin) was third under Danny Marshall for owner Shady Stables and trainer Jordan Hadley.
Attorney Fees (Maknmoves-Coronation Time), Keller Knud Teller (Teller Cartel-Heart Of A Runner), Jess Play For Me (Jesse James Jr-Playful Choices), Rate Me Hight (High Rate Of Return- Valiant Diamond), BF Classy James (Ivory James- Royalclassic Express), Mischievous Bay (Brookstone Bay-Miss Mischievous) and MT Fancy Panther (JR Dynasty Mountain-Lotta Fancy Fame) completed the order of finish.

AToast To Brindis tallied his third stakes win in the $16,500 Rock Springs Wyoming Bred Derby at Sweetwater Downs on Sept. 9.
Under Uriel Dominguez, A Toast To Brindis broke on top from the 9-post and led by a neck at the first call. He continued to dominate the field and
was never headed, crossing the wire 1 1/4-lengths in front. They completed the 400 yards in :19.796 while posting a 98 speed index. Trained by Jesse Villegas, the gelding earned the $6,600 winner’s share of the purse, boosting his total lifetime earnings to $48,856.
A Toast To Brindis won his 4th consecutive race in the Rock Springs Wyoming Bred Derby, including the fastest qualifying time from the Aug. 26 trials. He now has a record of 14-9(3)-1(1)-3(2), including additional stakes victories in the Wyoming Bred Futurity and KC Carden Wyoming Bred Derby.
Owner/breeder Gerald Kaul bred A Toast To Brindis out of lightly raced A Secret Life. She has produced 100% money earners from five starters, including 2015 Sweetwater Wyoming Bred Futurity winner Barely A Secret. A Toast To Brindis is her second stakes winner and top earner.
Favorite Fire Boy (Favorite Cartel-Club Pro) was second under Jesus Osuna for owner Aron Saenz and trainer Diana Garfias.
Dust Stone (First Prize Stone-Dreaming Snow) and Jesus Valenzuela were third for owner Jim Nebeker and trainer Riley Moosman.
Tiny Capitana (Captain Courage-Tiny Flyin Levis), Foose Dust (Foose-Out Of The Dust), Eyesa Special Cucouy (Eyesa Special Slim-Streakin Beddy Bye), KR American Pi (One Sweet Jess-KR American Girl), Unstoppable Honor (Brindis Por Cayenne-An Illusive Glance), Innosent Cat (Red Storm Cat-Not That Innocent) and Cente Version (Winners Version-Really Magic TB), who was DQ’d from sixth to last, completed the field.

SINGLES CRUISE

Singles Cruise notched her first stakes win in
the $31,050 John Deere Grand Prairie Juvenile Challenge at Evergreen Park on Aug. 19.
The filly broke well from the 5-post under Ceasar Cervantes and grabbed a head lead by the time she entered the stretch, pulled away during the final yards to win by 1-length.
The third-fastest qualifier, Singles Cruise fin- ished third in her 350-yard trial in :17.974 on Aug. 4. She was slightly faster in the stakes final, finishing in :17.961 and logging a 95 speed index.
It marked the second stakes win already for Singles Cruise, who improved her overall record to 3(2)-0-1 in five starts. She brought home the $14,903 winner’s share of the purse for owners Barry and Janice Sather, who also trains the filly, boosting her total lifetime earnings to $24,215. Her other stakes victory came in the Jerry Stojan Memorial Futurity, also held at Evergreen Park, earlier this year.
Steve Burns DVM bred Singles Cruise out of lightly raced Going Single. She has produced 100% money earners from four starters, including 2013 Evergreen Park Derby Challenge and New Track Record setter Snowboundbeast. Singles Cruise is her second stakes winner.
A disqualification elevated O Kingsley (First Timber-Burners Beauty) and J. Botello to runner-up honors for owner/trainer Wesley Oulton.
Shez My Hero (Valiant Hero-Daze Like This) was also moved up and finished third under Larris Allen for owners Mike & Kathy McNiven and trainer Laurie Ferguson.
Sasses Quick Silver (First Timber-Sass N Dass) was 4th, followed by FDD Thru Runnin (FDD Dynasty-Thru Running), Status Symbal (Favorite Cartel-Kool Kue Chick) & Ifarm (Coronado Cartel- Avery Hope), who was DQ’d from 2nd to 7th. Fastest qualifier Always Right scratched.
