TARZANITO

Tarzanito notched his second stakes win in the $100,000 Go Man Go Handicap-G1 at Los Alamitos on Sept. 2.
When the gate opened, Tarzanito had to over- come some bumping at the start. Favored Hold Air Hostage got out on the lead.
With Eddie Garcia in the irons, Tarzanito moved up to grab a neck victory in :19.614 for 400 yards, posting a 96 speed index.
Tarzanito brought home the $50,000 winner’s share of the purse for owners A1A Racing LLC and trainer Yanet Rodriguez, boosting his total earnings to $347,183.
Tarzanito won last year’s Sgt. Pepper Feature Handicap, and his stakes-placings include a second in the 2016 Golden State Million Futurity-G1
and thirds in this year’s Vessels Maturity-G1
and Spencer L. Childers California Breeders Championship-RG1.
Patricia Visscher bred Tarzanito out of winner Ancient Empress. She has produced 100% money earners from three starters, including winner Pats Little Empress. Tarzanito is her first stakes winner and top money earner.
Royaltys Authority (Royaltys Choice-Trick And Fun TB) and Jonathan Roman were second for owner S & S Horses and trainer Roman Figueroa.
Hold Air Hostage (Apollitical Jess-Fols Zookie Cookie) ran third under Jose Nicasio for owner Darling Farms and trainer Jaime Gomez.
Zoomin For Spuds (Zoomin For Bux-A Perfect Cocktail), Chicks Fayvorite (Favorite Cartel-Chicks Tell), He Looks Hot (Walk Thru Fire-Look Her Over), Kissed By An Eagle (One Famous Eagle- Dreaming Of Kisses), Rite Regal (Favorite Cartel-A Regal Classic), LD Is Back (Walk Thru Fire-Prima LD) and Unclaimed Dividend (A Mere Chocolate- Chavela Magic) completed the order of finish.

COLE MAN 47

Cole Man 47 notched his first stakes victory in the $51,210 John Deere Los Alamitos Juvenile Challenge on Aug. 18.
Under Jesus Ayala, the gelding broke from the 6-post on top. They led throughout for a wire-to- wire win, 1-length ahead of the field. They com- pleted the 350 yards in :17.575, posting a career-high 95 speed index.
Cole Man 47 brought home the $23,557 winner’s share of the purse for owners Steven McIntyre & Marin Jones, boosting his total lifetime earnings to $45,214.
Trained by Paul Jones, Cole Man 47 in six previous starts qualified for and was a finalist in the Robert Adair Kindergarten Futurity-G2, broke his maiden, and was the 2nd-fastest qualifier for the John Deere Los Alamitos Juvenile Challenge.
McIntyre bred Cole Man 47 out of 2-time win- ner GM Silver Dreams. She has produced 100% money earners from five starters. Cole Man 47 is her first stakes winner and top earner. The second dam, Dreamit, produced world-record holder Strike It Quick for McIntyre and Lee Giles. GM Silver Dreams has four winners from six starters.
Capitol Grille (Walk Thru Fire-Ruths Chris) and Cesar Franco finished second for owner Ron Hartley and trainer John Cooper.
Stevieb Flashofcash (First Moonflash-LDS Good Goin Gracie) finished third under Jose Nicasio for owner Five Livestock Company LLC and trainer Monty Arrossa.
KR Hi Five (Five Bar Cartel-I Bee Phia) and Classncoronas (Coronas Leaving You-Sumclassndash) dead-heated for fourth and were followed by Allyson Wonderland (Apollitical Jess-Just A Fairytale), Quick To Royalty (Favorite Cartel-GM Silver Dreams), Loan Sharky (Parsons Rock-Lil Sharky), Chasin Harm (Hawkinson-YR Brown Lucy) and Fames Prize Stone (First Prize Stone-Go For Fame).

TWISTED SIFTER

With his victory in the $25,000 Sgt Pepper Feature Handicap at Los Alamitos on Sept. 1, Twisted Sifter not only became a stakes winner, he tied for the most wins in 2018 with Rob That Wagon. Both have six victories.
Sent off as the even-money favorite in the 350- yard Sgt Pepper Feature, Twisted Sifter broke second from the 7-gate and quickly took the lead under Jonathan Roman.
The gelding battled with Chowchilla Chickadee to the wire, winning by a head in :17.526 and posting a 96 speed index.
The $13,750 winner’s share of the purse boosted his cumulative earnings to $46,427.
Trained by Roman Figueroa, Twisted Sifter finished third in the Vandys Flash Handicap in his only other stakes attempt. The first of his six wins
of 2018 came from a $16,000 maiden claimer on Feb. 11.
Corner K Quarter Horses LLC bred Twisted Sifter out of 3-time winner Bye Bye Baby Goodbye. She has produced 100% money earners from
11 starters, including 2011 Black Gold Futurity Championship-RG3 winner Sumokin and top
earner Blue Corazon, winner of the 2018 Ruidoso Futurity-G1. Twisted Sifter is her third stakes winner. Chowchilla Chickadee (Foose-Buzz Chick) finished second under Carlos Huerta for owners Bill Absher & Leland Decker and trainer John Cooper.
Jaime Gomez bred and trains third-place Famous N Hot (One Famous Eagle-Sizzling) and co-owns him with Dutch Masters III. Famous N Hot was ridden by Jose Nicasio.
Hard Headed Chick (Hard Hitting-Chickitita), Quite Up (Kiddy Up-Quite Unusual), Walk It Man (Walk Thru Fire-Attack The Cartel) and McFarland USA (First Moonflash-Mama Said Run) completed the order of finish.
