POLITICAL ROSE

Political Rose is coming into full bloom as a sophomore. The three-year-old bay filly improved to 3-0 in as many starts in 2022,
also tallying her first stakes victory in the $278,600 Heritage Place Oaks contested on May 28 at Remington Park.
This was the inaugural running of the Heritage Place Oaks, exclusively for three- year-old fillies. After topping the qualifying ladder for this race with a :19.444 run, and winning her trial race by nearly 4-lengths, Political Rose was a huge 1-5 favorite at post time. Political Rose came back in her first stakes of 2022 and ran to victory by daylight, though she did not quite equal her time in the trials.
In the stakes final, Political Rose broke on top from the inside starting gate. She led by
a length at the first call and maintained that gap at every remaining call.
