here He Goes scored his first victory from
only his second start in the $45,550 Ron Cook Wyoming Bred Futurity ay Wyoming Downs on June 18.
The gelding broke on top from the 6-post under jockey Tyson Lusk and was never headed. There He Goes crossed the finish line a neck in front for an impressive wire-to-wire finish.
The pair completed the 330 yards in :17.070, while posting a career best 85 speed index.
The Riley Moosman trainee secured the $20,953 winner’s share of the purse for owner Ridge Woodward, which pushed the gelding’s total bankroll to $21,753. His only other start was a second place finish in his June 4 trial, where he qualified with the final spot and a time of :17.377.
Ron Moosman and Brady Woodward bred There He Goes out of winner Separate Moves, a half-sister to Wyoming Bred Futurity winner Hes R Dynasty. Separate Moves has produced 100% winners from two starters. There He Goes is her first stakes winner.
Chasing Glock (Glock-Leading The Chase) ran a gritty race with a late surge to bank second place money for owners Bud & Toni Pendleton. Trainer Riley Moosman had Jesus Canales in the irons.
Grey Dust (Glock-Out Of The Dust) overcame a lackluster break with a big kick at the end under Jesus Virgen. She earned third place money for owner Jim Nebeker and trainer Riley Moosman.
Makin Turtlemoves (Ja Jess Perfect-Crash The Gates) was fourth and was followed by Edelstein (Flay-Julias Jewels), Mountain Creek Dust (Jr Dynasty Mountain-Dust Creek), The Eagle Way (Oceans Apart-Eagle Nation), Knud Politics (Apollitical Blood-Koris Knud Chick), Sundancin Kid (Pappasito-Josie Bassett) and Lanes Dynasty (Jr Dynasty Mountain-Rare Lane).

K Wildkat came into the finals of the $30,200
KC Carden Derby with a trial victory and the third fastest qualifying time. She stepped it up a couple of notches for the finals, breaking on top from the 2-post under Julian Zavala. At odds of 10.30, the team scored a big upset in a wire-to-wire victory, crossing the line a neck in front. Trained by Riley Moosman, they completed the 350 yards in :17.229, while posting a carrer best 105 speed index.
The $13,892 winner’s share of the purse boosted the sorrel fillies total lifetime earnings to $30,200 for owner/breeder Bryce Moosman.
BK Wildkat has now won three races from 10 starts and has placed in four more, including a third place finish in last year’s Wyoming Bred Futurity.
Bryce bred BK Wildkat out of Lotta Kat Moves, winner of the 2007 Beehive Futurity and Utah Classic Futurity. The mare has produced four winners from five starters, including top earner Gotta Lotta Papa, who won the 2019 Wyoming All Breeds Racing Association Futurity as well as the 2021 Rock Springs Wyoming Bred Maturity. BK Wildkat is her third stakes winner.
Fastest qualifier Classic Dynasty Dash (Jr Dynasty Mountain-Steffiesclassic Dash) settled for second for owners Ron Moosman and Gordon Knudsen. The Riley Moosman trainee Jesus Valenzuela in the irons. With a late effort, Pieces Of Dynasty (Jr Dynasty Mountain-BF Pieces Of April) was able to bank third place money under Cesar Moreno for owners Andrea and Eddie Jensen, and trainer Riley Moosman.
ER Switching Mtns (Jr Dynasty Mountain-Rm Switching Chicks), The Witch Hunt (Jr Dynasty Mountain-Makn Fame), Western Dynasty (Jr Dynasty Mountain-A Western Leader), ER Movin Pappa (Pappasito-RNL Need A Move) and Pursuit Of Pappa (Pappasito-Pursuit Of Destiny) completed the order of finish. DP Sassy and Ps Perfect were scratched.

ooked On A Win ran to victory in the Golden
Driller Stakes for the second time in his career, with a disqualification elevating him to the win in this year’s $17,000 race by a neck on June 11 at Fair Meadows.
Victor Ibarra trains Hooked On A Win, who finished his 350-yard trip in :17.711 and posted a 96 speed index. Rolando Raudales was aboard.
This victory came via disqualification when JT Business Man floated in front of a foe coming down the lane. Stewards moved JT Business Man from first to seventh in the official order of finish.
Hooked On A Win is no stranger to stakes company. He won the 2020 running of the Mr Jet Moore-G2 and the 2019 Boyd Morris Memorial, both held at Remington Park. He also won the 2018 version of the Golden Driller.
Regina Laymon owns and bred Hooked On A Win, who made his ninth trip to the winner’s circle and cashed a $10,284 check that increased the seven- year-old gelding’s total bankroll to $226,560.
JK Running Horses LLC (Jennie & Kenny Laymon) bred Hooked On A Win out of Pretty Girl Kate, a 2004 mare and winner of the 2007 running of the Kansas Bred Derby.
The disqualification lifted Giant Courage (Captain Courage-Deelish) and Dox Notta Fox into second and third place, respectively. Felipe Morales Martinez owns Giant Courage, a Felesha Gold trainee who had Travis Cunningham in the irons. Ismael Quijada owns Dox Notta Fox (Wagon Tales- Dox Strawflyin Annie), who is trained by Cosme Quijada and had Josh Romero aboard.
The remaining order of finish was Valerity (Volcom- Corona Couture), Dangerous Cartel (Coronado Cartel- Dangerous Dawn), Flying Afar (Stel Corona-Jetsetter), JT Business Man (Sizzlin Red Corona-Sweet Chico), Olena Sangria (Dashair-MT Rob This Corona) and Scaredy Pants (Valiant Hero-Jess Because I Could).
