Call Me Jessiecartel registered the initial stakes score of his young career with
a determined victory in the $387,688 Zia
Futurity-G1 at Ruidoso Downs on July 23. Second in the /3340,666 Mountain Top Futurity-G2 at Ruidoso Downs on June 18,
Call Me Jessiecartel entered the Zia Futurity as one of the more formidable contenders.
Sent off at odds of 5-2 and ridden by Esgar Ramirez, Call Me Jessiecartel broke in after the start of the 400-yard test but raced in contention throughout.
He dueled with early leader Young Emperor through the lane. Crispyn joined the fray close to home and the three rivals hit the finish line together with Call Me Jessiecartel prevailing by a nose.
Crispyn finished in second place and Young Emperor was a nose behind the runner-up in third place.
