Introduction.
FBF Communications thanks you for the opportunity to submit a PR proposal to support
‘golf’ at Druid’s Glen and to become part of an exciting 12-18 months for the business as
investment and refurbishments change the landscape of the course and the historic
Woodstock House, of the very popular Druid’s Glen course.
Golf is what Ireland is renowned for. From breezy links to lush parkland courses and a
challenging bunker footprint, we compete on an international stage. Druid’s Glen,
alongside Druid’s Heath are must visit destinations for any golfer, the pinnacle of Irish Golf.
With the backdrop of an award-winning 5-star hotel, ‘Golf Resort of the Year’ accolades, as
4-time Irish Open Host and the best par 3’s in golf…it’s reputation precedes itself.
Druid’s Glen wishes to engage in public relations activity to continue momentum and
awareness for the prestigious brand, to recruit new memberships to Druid’s Heath (short-
term) and Druid’s Glen for its re-opening, boost green fee purchase and to ensure the
brand is recognised as a championship destination for top golfing events. Alongside, the
recently refurbished Druid’s Heath, preserving all that makes Druid’s Heath the wonderful
course it is, but with a slightly new identity.
Like many other industries, Golf experienced the impact of the pandemic (thanks to
closures and the governments 5K radius rules), however, it was favourable to memberships
(thanks to member only priority) and gave the industry the membership boost it had been
seeking to accomplish.
FBF is well positioned to assist Druid’s Glen in its long-term ambitions for golf and the
future success of a high-quality golf experience for members and guests of the resort,
whilst helping to keep the history and magic alive.
