Legal Service Office

The Legal Service Office is responsible for:

a) the legal support of the relevant Regional Directorate of Primary and

Secondary Education and the single-member and collegiate bodies that

fall under to it in matters of operation and exercise of responsibilities,

b) the legal support of the relevant Regional Directorate of Primary and

Secondary Education in matters of application of disciplinary law,

c) the preparation and submission of reports of views of the administration

to the competent courts, and to independent authorities.

Office of Minority Education

The Office of Minority Education of the Regional Directorate of Education

Eastern Macedonia - Thrace is responsible for:

a) the coordination of the Directorates of Primary and Secondary

Education of the Regional Units of Rodopi, Xanthi and Evros for the specific
issues of minority education, in particular.

b) issues related to the organization and operation of minority schools

Primary and Secondary Education.

c) issues related to the organization and operation of Muslim Seminaries.

d) matters relating to the organisation and administrative support for the

teaching of the Qur'an by the Seminarians of Islamic Religion of article 53
