European Programs





                     The  Regional  Directorate  of  Education  of  Eastern  Macedonia-Thrace  is

                always looking for ways to raise the profile of its teachers in the area. Training

                courses  are  organized  and  educational  seminars    through  its  training

                coordinators, on a regular basis, in accordance with the educational needs of
                teachers.


                  At  the  same  time,  the  Directorate  participates  in  European  programs  and

                implements various projects, designed on the basis of European and national

                educational principles, educational needs and particularities of teachers of the
                area.


                  The  Regional  Directorate  of  Education  of  Eastern  Macedonia-Thrace  has

                already  successfully  completed  five  Erasmus+  KA2  projects/  Strategic

                Partnerships.


                    Within these plans teachers of various specialties have enhanced knowledge,
                skills and their competences with face-to-face and distance learning in relation

                to: 1) the treatment of children with different cultural backgrounds in classes


                Multicultural  Schools  –  Enhancing  Cultural  and  Linguistic  Treasure  of  Europe

                through Teachers (MCS)" (proj. nr. 2015-1-PL01-KA201-016963),

                2) language education in special education schools, "Language Education and

                Speech Therapy for people.  (LET'S)" (proj. nr. 2016-1-RO01-KA202-024644),


                3)  preventing  school  drop-out  by  adopting  innovative  and  extracurricular
                activities. “School Without Walls" (proj. nr. 2016-1-TR01-KA201-034306),


                4) enhancing the integration of migrants/ refugees in classrooms, by adopting

                innovative  activities  through  music,  “POMELO"  (proj.  no.  2018-2-IT03-KA205-

                013960).
