The event included Olympic (in competitive form) and Paralympic
sports, while cultural and other activities were also organized.

- During the school years 201-2017 the Directory developed the "observatory of
violence" which comprised a hub of information and coordination - training of

teachers while at the same time organizing a number of training seminars.

In the context of this program, we mention indicatively the organization of an

educational workshop on "Building the safe school: school violence and

victimization", and keynote speakers the Professor of Criminology of the National

and Kapodistrian University of Athens, former Rector of the Democritus University
of Thrace, and Member of Parliament for A' Athens of DIMAR, Mr. Giannis

Panousis and the psychiatrist, Director of the psychiatric clinic of the University

Hospital of Alexandroupolis, Mr. George Kafalis, in the framework of the

prevention actions of the "Observatory on School Violence and Bullying", and in

collaboration with the 3rd High School of Komotini, the 3rd High School of
Komotini, the 3rd Primary School of Komotini, and the Observatory for the

Prevention of School Violence Eastern Macedonia - Thrace. March 2014
