Rules Governing Lakewood Country Club
All guests must be accompanied by the Member while using the pool facilities. Child
caregivers may accompany Members' children (without the Member being present)
and the usual guest fee will not be charged.
Members’ grandchildren aged 9 and under, and Members' children under 25 years of
age and living in the household of the parent, may use the pool as a Member, subject
to the rules and regulations listed in this section. Members' grandchildren must be
accompanied by the grandparent. The non-Member parent of a Member's grandchild
is not considered a caregiver. They are subject to the guest fee, and they must be
accompanied by their parent (the Member).
Food and Beverage: Food and beverage not purchased at the Club will not be
permitted on the Club premises.
Towels: Club towels may be checked out from the Pool Office. These towels must
be returned before leaving. There will be a $10 charge for towels not returned.
Swimming Team: The swimming team is comprised of boys and girls divided into
an upper and lower division. The lower division is 10 years of age and under. The
upper division is 11 to 18 years of age.
Anyone interested in swimming team competition should report to the pool and
register after the pool is open for the season. Notification of this will be sent in
advance.
Grandchildren of Members may apply to management to participate on the
swimming team and may use the pool during restricted hours as team members at a
fee to cover team costs.
Swimming Lessons: Private and group lessons are available and registration for
lessons should be made with the Aquatics Director during the first week the pool is
open for the season.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Children 11 years of age and under must be accompanied by and under the
supervision of a Member or child caregiver at all times while in the pool area. If a
child under 11 years of age is left unattended, the Member will be contacted by the
General Manager or Manager on Duty and requested to come to the pool area. If this
situation recurs, the Member will be requested to appear before the Board of
Directors.
2. Glass containers will not be allowed in the pool area.
3. Running, pushing and rough play will not be permitted in the pool or on the pool
decks.
4. Bathers with open sores, colds or infections should not enter the pool.
5. Only one person on the diving board at a time.
