Rules Governing Lakewood Country Club
OFF-SEASON GUEST POLICY/RESTRICTIONS
October 1st through April 30th
All guest time restrictions are lifted. However, guests are still limited to twice per
month.
HANDICAPS
Each round that is played at Lakewood Country Club during the handicap season
must be recorded for handicap purposes. You must post your score on one of the
handicap computers, online or via mobile app. With the new golf handicap posting
system please post your score on the day you played as handicaps are adjusted every
day.
Remember, all scores need to be recorded. Any persons willfully not turning in scores
or falsifying scores will face disciplinary action from the Golf Committee.
Only Members with USGA handicaps are eligible to compete in Club events. To
participate in the Scotch tournament, each contestant must have played and posted a
minimum of 10 scores from the official start of last year's Scotch tournament.
DRESS CODE
The dress code is designed to maintain the appropriate atmosphere that is
acceptable for golf and Lakewood Country Club. The Member is responsible for the
behavior and the appearance of his/her guest(s). Management has the responsibility
to inform the dress code standards to anyone that is in violation. The following
descriptions must be adhered to by Members, their families, and their guests.
All Golf Areas – Golf Course, Driving Range, Practice Area, and Putting
Greens
Men
Collared or mock necked shirts are acceptable
All shirts must be tucked in with the exception of full-button square-bottom camp
shirts
Golf trousers or appropriate length shorts
All caps must be worn properly with bill facing forward
Clothing that is prohibited:
Jeans/denim/workout attire/cargo pants/cargo shorts/baggy shorts
