MESSAGE
OFFICE OF THE SCHOOL OF TEACHER EDUCATION (STE) DEAN
Dear Graduates of 2024,
Congratulations on reaching this significant milestone in your academic
journey. As the dean of the School of Teacher Education, I am honored to
celebrate your achievements and to acknowledge the hard work, dedication, and
resilience you have demonstrated throughout your time with us.
This year’s theme, "JHCSC Future Ready Graduates: The Genuine
Response to the Challenges of the Industrial Revolution and Glocalization,"
perfectly encapsulates the essence of your preparedness for the dynamic world
that awaits you. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is transforming every aspect of
our lives, merging the physical, digital, and biological worlds in unprecedented
ways. Simultaneously, the concept of glocalization urges us to think globally
while acting locally, blending global insights with local realities.
As future educators, you are uniquely positioned to be at the forefront of
these transformations. Your ability to adapt to new technologies, your
commitment to lifelong learning, and your passion for nurturing young minds
are the cornerstones of the progress we need. You have been equipped not just
with knowledge, but with the critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
necessary to navigate and address the complexities of modern education.
Remember, being future-ready is not just about technological proficiency.
It’s about being compassionate, inclusive, and culturally aware. It’s about
fostering environments where every student can thrive, regardless of their
background. Your role is crucial in shaping a future that is equitable, innovative,
and interconnected.
As you step out into the world, embrace the challenges and opportunities
that come your way with confidence and courage. Continue to learn, grow, and
inspire. Be the genuine response to the evolving needs of our society, and lead
with integrity and purpose.
Congratulations once again, graduates. The future is yours to shape.
