        OUTCOMES

                       The personnel holding the librarian positions are highly qualified, having graduated with a degree
                       in Library Science on top of her PRC license.

                       There is one (1) professional librarian supported with two (3)  para-professional personnel who
                       are cooperatively working together for the betterment of the library services of the campus;

                       In its efforts to really meet the ratio of staff with the number of population, one(1) CONTRACT
                       OF Service  is hired to serve at the internet  services  ;

                       Aside from the number of permanent and contractual  staff, there is a  student assistant every
                       semester who is responsible for the maintenance, shelving process & janitorial services of the
                       entire library.

                       Hence, the existing number of the library personnel warrant the required number as mandated
                       by any accrediting agency.
        BEST PRACTICES


                        The library is well managed by a highly qualified professional librarian, a Masters degree holder
                        in Library  and  Information Science

                         The Library staff is given an equal opportunity for promotion and other benefits with other
                        employees of the University.
                        Attendance  and  relevant  seminars,  workshops,  trainings  and  conferences  of  staff  is
                        encouraged to re-tool them with new trends and development of the library;

                        Exposure of the Library Staff to other “best other practices adopted by other advanced libraries
                        through a yearly Educational Tour granted by the IFSU administration;

                        Updates  of  the  librarianship  profession  through  active  membership  to  the  PLAI,PAARL  and
                        ALAP.

                        The  Head  librarian’s  active  participation  both  in  the  academic  and  administrative  councils
                        meeting as avenue in voicing out regarding the welfare of the staff, and other concerns of the
                        library;
