      STRATEGY                    SYSTEM FOR TRADE FACILITATION



            "Customs Alliances" Project
                    Project aims to increase communication channels between the private sector and the Customs Department
            for advice, information, coordination, solution, and clarification to reduce controversies in different areas, regarding both
            policies and on-site operation, such as Customs procedures, Customs tariff, Customs valuation, origin, Customs laws,
            incentives, and other issues. It provides channels for communicating, coordinating and solving issues related the
            Customs Department's performances in a friendly and timely manner. In 2019, the project has been actively
            expanded to regional level and continued to strengthen cooperation and enhance public relations with series of
            activities for customs personnel, such as the Seminar on "Tariff e-Service" and "Time Release Study:TRS" and Public
            Hearing on Fee Collection for Customs Goods Declaration Procedure. Additionally, the project also emphasizes
            close and comprehensive coordination between public and private sectors. lmplemented in accordance with the Thai
            Customs' vision of "an excellent Customs service to achieve sustainable development of Thailand's economy and global
            trade connectivity" and in alignment with Thai Customs' identity and virtues, advocating "accountability, integrity and
            service mind," Customs Alliances Project, also reinforces good images of the Thai Customs.

                 02               DEVELOP CUSTOMS MEASURES AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE INFORMATION
      STRATEGY                    TO PROMOTE BORDER TRADE AND GLOBAL TRADE CONNECTIVITY



            Compilation of Laws and Other Regulations in Relation to Customs Laws
                    Customs Laws are essential for private sector's business operation and various aspects of national affairs.
            For this reason, it is necessary to compile laws, regulations, circular notices, guidelines, orders, cabinet resolutions,
            verdicts, judicial decisions, and opinions of other organizations, which are related to Customs Laws and might affect
            the general public. All these legal information and other issues related Customs laws, compiled by the Customs
            Department, will be available in the National Online Legal Database System, for the general public to research, study,
            or use as references with convenience and ease for practical use.

                 03               IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY AND INTEGRITY
      STRATEGY                    OF CUSTOMS CONTROL SYSTEM



            Strategic Goods Control Coordination Center Project:
                    Thai Customs Department has cooperated with other agencies within the country and related international
            agencies to raise awareness among customs officers and relevant stakeholders on the threats from abuses of strategic
            goods. Additional tools, equipment and technologies have been introduced to support the officers' inspection of goods.
            Statistical information on strategic goods inspections have also been collected to make a database for risk management
            and Profiling and Targeting for higher efficiency in controlling and inspecting strategic goods, meeting international
            standards and causing no obstacle or disruption to trade facilitation.
