Privileges enjoyed by AEO Operators include, for instances,

For customs import procedures, exemption from physical examination
except other related laws otherwise stated/ suspicious
For customs export procedures, exemption in providing export goods sample,
except other relevant laws otherwise stated.
For customs transshipment and transit procedures, the privilege on using standardized AEO status as guarantee in
lieu of placing financial guarantee as prescribed by laws or rules specified by the Customs Department.
Currently, in Thailand, there are certified 373 AEOs, comprised of 190 import and export AEOs and 183 Customs
Clearance Agents of AEO Standard (data as of 30 September 2019).
