Agreements             Effective                        Progress of Implementation

                                                    The agreement is now effective in 5 partner countries: Hong Kong (China), Myanmar,
                                                    Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. It is not yet effective in the other 6 partner
                                                    countries due to their internal process. Once notified of the readiness to enforce
                                                    AHKFTA, the Customs Department will issue a Customs Department Notification
        7. ASEAN – Hong Kong,                       on the matter. The Customs Department has issued the Ministry of Finance Notification

                                                    Book No. 136 Special Section 131 dated 23 May 2019.
                                                    There are only 83 products subjected to tariff reduction scheme. Recently, there

        11. Japan-Thailand                          Presently, the Agreement imposes the implementation of Product Specific Rules
        Economic Partnership    Since 1 November 2007 (PSR) following Harmonized System 2002 (HS2002). Most recently, Thailand
        Agreement (JTEPA)                           and Japan are in a discussion to adjust PSR from HS2002 to HS 2017.
        12. Thailand-Peru Closer                    Thailand and Peru agree to eliminate/ reduce customs duties on 70% of all goods.
        Economic Partnership    Since 31 December 2011 Following the adjustment of Harmonized System and Rules of Origin, both

                                                    During the most recent meeting on 20-21 June 2019 at the Department of Trade
