SIGNING OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
WITH THE CUSTOMS DEPARTMENT OF
THE REPUBLIC OF THE UNION OF MYANMAR

Mr. Krisada Chinavicharana, Director-General of the Thai Customs Department,
and Mr. Kyaw Htin, Director-General of Customs, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar
signed the Memorandum of Understanding Between the Customs Department of the
Kingdom of Thailand and the Customs Department of the Republic of the Union of
Myanmar Concerning Cooperation and Mutual Assistance in Customs Matters on 11
June 2019 during the 28th Meeting of ASEAN Director-General of Customs in Vientiane,
Lao PDR.

INTERNATIONAL CO-OPERATION PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATES OF MERIT FROM
THE WORLD CUSTOMS ORGANIZATION

Mr. Krisada Chinavicharana, Director-
General of the Customs Department,
presided over the Celebration of International
Customs Day 2019 and presented
WCO certificates of Merit to 23 customs
officers who have contributed to the
development of Customs Compliance,
Enforcement and Facilitation along the
border. Participants from external
agencies were also present at the
event, held at 1st Floor Hall on 25
January 2019.

(RHCA) MEETING
Mr. Chaiyut Kumkun, Principal Advisor on Customs
Control Development, and the representatives from
the Strategy and Planning Division attended the
20th Regional Heads of Customs Administration
(RHCA) Meeting during 7-10 May 2019 at Kochi,
Kerala, Republic of India.
