n the morning of 5 November 1978, the Artillery Centre was woken by the
O morning ‘Aazan’ at the mosque. ‘Namaz’ was offered for the wellbeing of the
Regiment of Artillery.
Thereafter religious prayers were held at Artillery Centre Mandir,
Gurudwara and the Protestant and Catholic Churches. The COAS, senior
serving and retired officers, and serving and retired JCOs and other ranks attended.
