REGIMENT OF ARTILLERY-THROUGH THE REUNIONS

Pensioners’ Durbar

he Pensioners’ Durbar was conducted at the Topchi
T Cinema. Present on the dais were Lieutenant General
Charanjit Singh, PVSM the Director of Artillery, Brigadier
MEA Krishnan, the representative of the Adjutant General’s

Branch, Colonel RK Nanda, Commandant Artillery Centre,
Nasik Road and Lieutenant Colonel Velayudhan, Officer
Commanding Artillery Records.

General OP Malhotra, PVSM, COAS addressed the
pensioners extempore and then invited questions from them.
There was a spate of searching questions mainly pertaining to
the socio-economic conditions and rehabilitation of these brave

sons of the motherland. They found in their Chief, a very
sympathetic listener who directed the authorities concerned
that all their problems be looked into scrupulously.
