Why do we have a PTA?
We are very fortunate to have a PTA the is an integral part of the school. In its time Tanya Horne
Dancers PA have raised thousands of pounds which has been spent on supporting our dancers and
their families.
Its more than just fundraising. It is an excellent way to bring staff, pupils, parents and friends
together socially in support of the dancers working towards a common goal. And it’s fun! As with
any organisation there are times when it is more “challenging”, but with continued support of
parents , our PTA has always succeeded in it’s efforts.
The Tanya Horne Dancers PA is very conscious of the ethos and morals of the Tanya Horne School of
Highland Dancing, and we organise all our events to respect these. Not all of our events are run as
fundraisers. Our annual presentation night is run with the aim to provide a fun, relaxed night of
celebration.
