SOLAR ENERGY EXPERIENCE
ARMY NATIONAL GUARD FIELD
MAINTENANCE SHOP
The Army National Guard Field Maintenance Shop project, built for the Nevada
State Public Works Board, included the new construction of a 73,496 square foot
military vehicle maintenance complex located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The facility
supports 12 Army National Guard Maintenance Units and 40 military vehicles.
The military vehicle maintenance complex was constructed to accommodate
wheeled and track vehicles, small arms equipment, and communication and
electronic devices. The project also featured maintenance bays, auto shops,
military equipment storage, administration spaces, and support areas. Site work
consisted of parking areas for military and privately owned cars, storm-water
control and detention, and photovoltaic solar array installation. Due to CORE’s
military construction experience, the Army National Guard Field Maintenance
Shop effectively serves the maintenance needs for combat readiness of the
Nevada Army National Guard.
