CORE Construction
MARICOPA MULTI-GENERATION + AQUATIC CENTER
The Maricopa Multi-generational and Aquatic Center project, built for the City of Maricopa, included the new
construction of a 48,650 square foot community center located in Maricopa, Arizona. The facility functions as a
sporting, fitness, recreation, and leisure complex adjacent to Copper Sky Regional Park. The community center
was constructed on a concrete foundation with a pre-engineered metal building, concrete masonry unit, and
structural steel frame. A metal panel and glazed curtainwall exterior and coated foamed roof completed the
construction. The project also features a zero-entry swimming pool, an eight-lane, 25-yard competition pool with
one meter diving boards, recreational pool with a waterslide, rock climbing wall and lazy river, locker room, fitness
room, and a gymnasium with an elevated steel running track. Due to CORE’s construction efforts, the Maricopa
Multi-generational and Aquatic Center now serves as a recreational destination for residents.
