GRADUATE NURSE EDUCATION
DEMONSTRATION FACILITY

The Graduate Nurse Education Demonstration Facility, built for Scottsdale
Healthcare Corporation, included the renovation of a 1,200 square foot medical
building located in Scottsdale, AZ. The facility houses classrooms for clinical
training to advanced practice registered nursing (APRN) students in the Graduate
Nurse Education Demonstration program at the Scottsdale Healthcare Medical
Center. Renovations of the medical building consisted of converting two medical
suites into clinical training classrooms, reframing of interior walls with metal studs
and drywall, and installing new wall bases. The project also featured gypsum
wall repair and the installation of new carpet. The Graduate Nurse Education
Demonstration Facility now provides an innovative facility for the clinical training
of APRNs to provide primary care, preventative care, transitional care, chronic care
management, and other services for Medicare beneficiaries.
