HOTEL PERE MARQUETTE

The Hotel Pere Marquette project, built for Pere Marquette/Peoria Courtyard,
included the renovation of a 274,000 square foot hotel in Peoria, IL. The facility,
originally built in 1936, serves as a cultural landmark to the community. The hotel
was constructed on a concrete foundation, precast concrete structural frame,
and an exterior of brick and terra cotta, masonry, and an exterior insulation and
finish system. An EPDM roofing system completed the construction. The project
also featured the demolition and replacement of the original parking deck with a
five and a half-story, 400-space parking garage. Due to CORE’s effective planning
with the City of Peoria, the Pere Marquette was completed without disruption to
the flow of downtown traffic.
